COMMUNITY WIN WIN PROGRAM

There is only two behaviors this program is based on. It is self control and responsibility. This program teaches children to be responsible for their behavior and be in control of their actions. Teaches them there is a cost to poor behavior, and they have to pay it.

Our society has developed a punishment phobia toward children. In doing so miss the fact children need to be trained. When children act out, they are asking to be heard. When they are just ignored, their actions become more violent. Mediators are trained to listen and negotiate a fair outcome.

Many states, including the State of California, provide training for layman to become Mediators. Upon completion of the State training these individual would become officers of the court. And facilitate as a school officers.

K Though 3 would have Zero tolerance. Today children acting out in school is tolerated to extreme extent. Our current authorities fail to protect the innocent while under the illusion they are protecting our youth.

Being in control of ones behavior enable an individual to be pro active. The alternative would be in react mode. One can only control what they are responsible for and can only be responsible for what they have control of. The child will learn boundaries.

Being taught to be responsible for their behavior while in the learning stage promotes the development of a responsible adult.Correcting poor behavior is not punishment, it is personal development.

Zero tolerance are not left to the teachers to manage. The school facilitators will be notified of every infraction. The facilitators (trained mediator) will communicate with the poor behavior of students every time. The student will be made responsible to correct the ofenance their behavior caused. They will also will be heard, those that suggest they are in need of professionals will get help. The facilitators are trained to hear what they are listen to. When a student behavior is determined to require parent partnership, a parent hearing is mandated.

Kinder garden though 3rd grade is the learning mode time. The best time to invest in business or any opportunity is at the beginning. I sure wish I would have got involved with Microsoft when that business was young.
Currently our government invest in programs to try and fix broken individuals. K-Through-3 offers evidence of a much better outcome for our investment of time and money.
